Dow's 235-point jump highlighted by gains in Apple, Boeing shares

DOW UPDATE

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up Friday morning with shares of Apple and Boeing delivering strong returns for the blue-chip average. Shares of Apple and Boeing have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally, as the Dow was most recently trading 235 points higher (0.7%). Apple’s shares have climbed $3.99, or 2.7%, while those of Boeing are up $4.92 (2.3%), combining for an approximately 59-point boost for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Goldman Sachs American Express and Home Depot A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
