EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis President was in Evansville to talk about the outlook for the U.S. economy.
They say this is part of this year’s Economic Impact & Policy Forum put together by EREP.
President and CEO Alberto Musalem, shared insights on monetary policy, recent economic trends and his outlook for the U.S. economy.
His remarks will provide valuable context for understanding the economic forces shaping both the nation and the Evansville region.
Regional Executive Seema Sheth says this event is important for leaders to learn more about the tri-state.
“One of the things that Fed does is we hold a finger on the US economy,” Sheth says. “We wanna make sure that we understand what’s happening right to the minute to make sure that we’re conducting monetary policy in a way that makes sense for every American, so this is like these are really important for us – the president gets to learn about the cities in the zone, and we get to learn about Evansville.”
